The Ambiguity of Islam

The West has problems understanding the Muslim approach to reality and tends to assume that a natural liberalism within the Arab world will eventually emerge. There are severe consequences of this worldview as the West is never able to respond adequately to the challenges Islam presents. Father Samir Khalil Samir has authored 111 Questions on Islam in which he discusses many of the misconceptions widely held in our culture.
